Originally from New Jersey, I received a BA from Princeton University and followed my husband from there to Colorado, where I received an MBA at DU.

After raising two girls for a few years I returned to school to get a Bachelors in Nursing from UCCS and worked as an ED nurse for fourteen years, while I was also a firefighter and paramedic at Black Forest Fire Rescue. I became a Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s from UCCS and worked with Veterans for a few months, then joined Colorado Springs Nephrology. In my free time, I like to hike, bike, kayak, and do jigsaw puzzles.
